What’s New in 6.5.0
You can now record why a lift is on hold, see what changed on any lift or trail today, and set up your dispatch map with a live preview.
✨ New Features
- Reasons for lift holds: Putting a lift on hold now asks why. Pick Wind hold, Lightning, Guest incident or Mechanical issue, or type your own reason. The reason shows in the lift’s Note column until the hold is released, and it’s saved in the lift’s history.
- Status history for every lift and trail: Click a lift or trail name on the Lifts or Trails dashboard to see everything that changed today, newest first: opened, closed, held, started, stopped, groomed, snowmaking and night operation, with the time, who made the change and any stop or hold reason. Switch to Last 7 days to look further back.
- Live map preview in Resort Settings: The Dispatch map section of Resort Settings now shows a preview of your resort map, with your trails, lifts, areas and their names. As you change the centre, zoom, tilt or heading, the preview moves to match. You can also drag, zoom or rotate the preview itself to frame your resort, and the settings fill in for you. No more guessing coordinates.
🔧 Improvements
- Full lift and trail history: The lift and trail reports have a new look and are now one click away, from Full history on the Lifts and Trails dashboards. Choose a date range, filter by name, and see each change with its reason and who made it.
- Quicker AirFlare caller location: Locating a caller with AirFlare now needs only their phone number. AirFlare returns the caller’s name, and Medic52 checks it against the patient name on the incident if there is one.
- Help links for map settings: The Call signs and Team grouping on map settings now link straight to a help article explaining what each one does.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- The Trail / lift label zoom setting now takes effect on the dispatch map. Before, the map always showed trail and lift names from zoom 17, whatever your resort had set.
- Resort Settings no longer opens as a blank page for the few resorts where this happened.
- Signing in is more reliable. A mistyped password no longer causes an error for the next few minutes, and sign-in links keep working after your resort access changes.
- Security updates: We updated the components Medic52 is built on and tightened security checks across the app.
