Yes, you can sign on with one device and sign off with another. Your shift status belongs to your account, not to a single device, so it is shared everywhere you use Medic52.
How does it work across devices?
Your sign-on state is kept centrally and stays in step across:
- the web platform at app.medic52.com,
- the Medic52 mobile app (the Shift tab), and
- a shared Sign On device.
So you might sign on at a shared tablet in the patrol room, and later sign off from your own phone in the app — or sign on in the app and sign off on the web. Wherever you sign off, your shift is closed everywhere.
What if I was offline when I signed on in the app?
The mobile app records your sign-on or sign-off immediately and syncs it to Medic52 as soon as your connection returns, so your status catches up automatically. See Does the Medic52 mobile app work offline?
