How do I delete my Medic52 account?

This article is for any Medic52 user who wants their account removed. It explains how to request account deletion from the mobile app or the web, and what happens to the data linked to your account.

Before you begin

  • Your Medic52 account is issued by your employer or organisation (your ski resort, race, or venue). It is not a personal account you signed up for yourself.
  • Because your account is tied to your organisation’s incident, patient, and shift records, deletion is handled as a request rather than an instant wipe — this protects records your organisation is legally required to keep.
  • You can start the request from the Medic52 mobile app or by contacting support directly. You do not need any special role or permission to make the request.

How do I request account deletion from the mobile app?

Use this when you have the Medic52 app installed on your phone or tablet.

  1. Open the Medic52 app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab.
  3. Under Help & support, tap Delete account.
  4. The app opens this page in your browser. Follow the steps in How is my account deleted? below to send your request.

How do I request account deletion without the app?

Use this if you can no longer sign in or do not have the app installed.

  • Email support@medic52.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include your full name and the name of your resort or organisation so the team can locate your account.

How is my account deleted?

Medic52 deletes accounts through a verified request so that the right account is removed and your organisation’s regulated records stay intact.

  1. Contact your organisation’s Medic52 administrator (usually your patrol manager, risk manager, or event safety lead) and ask them to remove your account, or email support@medic52.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. Include your full name and your resort or organisation name so your account can be identified.
  3. The team verifies the request and removes your login and personal profile details.

Important: Incident, patient, and shift records you contributed to are not deleted with your account. These belong to your organisation and are kept to meet medical, safety, and regulatory record-keeping obligations. Your personal login and profile are what get removed.

Frequently asked

What happens to my data when my account is deleted?

When your Medic52 account is deleted, your login credentials and personal profile information are removed so you can no longer sign in. Incident, patient, and shift records that you created or edited remain with your organisation, because they are operational and clinical records your venue is legally required to retain.

How long does account deletion take?

Account deletion is processed manually after your request is verified. Most requests are completed within a few business days. If you need confirmation, ask when you send the request.

Can I delete my account myself instantly in the app?

No. Because a Medic52 account is issued by your organisation and is linked to regulated safety and patient records, deletion is completed by your administrator or the Medic52 support team after a request. The app gives you the path to start that request under Profile → Help & support → Delete account.

I can’t sign in anymore — can I still request deletion?

Yes. Email support@medic52.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Account deletion request” and your name and organisation. You do not need to be able to sign in to request deletion.
