What’s New in 1.0.3

The Medic52 app now keeps working when you lose signal. You can open and start incidents with no connection, see exactly which changes are still waiting to upload and why, and each resort’s incidents stay separate when you switch between them.

✨ New Features

  • Start and open incidents offline — The app now saves your resort’s incident form on your phone, so you can open an incident or start a new one with no signal. Your changes upload when you’re back online.
  • See what’s waiting to upload — Changes that haven’t uploaded yet show the incident number, the resort and the reason they’re waiting. A small cloud mark appears on the incident, on each changed field and on the resort in your Profile, so nothing is lost without you knowing. Being offline now shows as “waiting”, not as an error.
  • My progress — Go to Profile → Training → My progress to see your training passport: how far through you are, the status of each module and when your next review is due. It works offline too.
  • Keep screen on — A new Display setting in Profile stops your phone dimming or locking while Medic52 is open, so the map or an open incident stays on screen. It’s off by default because it uses more battery.
  • Full-screen signatures — Tap a signature field to sign on a full-screen pad instead of a small box inside the form. Tap a saved signature to view it or sign again.
  • More of the app in French — Buttons, status labels, sync messages and prompts across incidents, shifts, map and Profile are now translated. Incident form labels follow the language you pick in the app.

🔧 Improvements

  • Opens on your resort — If you belong to more than one resort, the app opens on the one you last picked on your phone and lists only that resort’s incidents. Each resort keeps its own offline copy, so switching back shows its incidents again, even offline.
  • Signing out clears your data — Signing out now removes Medic52 data from your phone, which matters on shared devices. If you have changes that haven’t uploaded, the app warns you first and lets you review them.
  • Fewer taps on the incident form — If your resort has only one area, the app no longer asks you to pick it. It fills it in for you, the same as the web dashboard.
  • Sections that follow your answers — Parts of the incident form can now show or hide based on earlier answers, the same as on the web dashboard.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The map location picker now saves where you put the pin, not where the map first opened.
  • An incident started on the phone could be marked as uploaded before Medic52 had received it. It now stays waiting until the upload is confirmed.
  • An edit to an incident that never reached Medic52 no longer retries forever. The app explains what happened and offers to upload it as a new incident.
  • Opening an incident that isn’t available on your account no longer signs you out.
  • Incidents from your previous resort no longer appear in the list after restarting the app.
  • The sign-in screen now scrolls when the keyboard and an error message are both showing.
