What’s New in 5.5.0

This release makes your dispatch map more dependable than ever. We’ve squashed a cluster of issues that could leave the map showing duplicate markers, stale locations, or positions that didn’t stick after a drag — so what you see on screen now always matches what’s on the mountain. We’ve also tightened up controlled substances tracking and strengthened account security behind the scenes.

🔧 Improvements

  • A more reliable dispatch map — We’ve overhauled how the map builds and refreshes its locations. Markers no longer appear twice, dragged locations save their new position straight away, and the map now updates the moment you edit a trail or location instead of showing yesterday’s data. If you’ve ever had to reload to trust what you were seeing, that’s fixed
  • Clearer errors when a location can’t be deleted — If a location is still in use and can’t be removed, you now get a clear on-screen explanation instead of the action quietly doing nothing
  • Strengthened access controls — We’ve hardened who can reach resort settings and administration screens, and removed internal identifiers from the address bar. These changes keep each resort’s data properly walled off from every other resort on the platform

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The dispose and relocate buttons on the controlled substances stock page now work correctly
  • Controlled substance times now display in your local time zone without an extra offset being applied
  • Editing a user who belongs to a different resort now shows a clear “not permitted” message instead of an error page
  • The map no longer holds on to an empty set of locations after a temporary hiccup, so your locations always come back
