What’s New in 5.4.0

This is a big one. The entire Medic52 application is now available in French — every menu, every button, every form. The dispatch map gets a live Team panel so you can see and reposition your patrollers in real time. And we’ve added new trail types for access roads and plain ski runs, giving you more accurate trail classification.

✨ New Features

  • Team panel on the dispatch map — A dedicated panel now shows your entire team on the dispatch map. You can drag patroller markers to update their positions in real time during operations, giving dispatch a complete picture of where everyone is
  • Always-visible location icons — Key locations like first aid rooms, helicopter pads, and equipment stores now show as permanent icons on the dispatch map using Ondago-style presets, so your team always knows where to find critical facilities
  • Preset icon picker with bilingual support — When configuring locations, choose from a curated library of preset icons with labels in both French and English
  • New trail types — Access roads, road networks, and plain ski runs are now available as trail rating types, so your trail classification matches what’s actually on the mountain
  • Delete locations from the list — You can now remove locations directly from the locations list view instead of having to open each one individually
  • Complete French translation — The sign on/off modal, the entire sidebar menu, and all incident UI components are now fully translated into French. Intercom’s help chat also automatically adapts to your language preference, so French-speaking patrollers get support in their language

Traduction complète en français — Le système de pointage, le menu latéral et tous les formulaires d’incident sont désormais entièrement disponibles en français.

🔧 Improvements

  • Trail ratings consolidated — Trail ratings have been reorganised and the map rendering overhauled for a cleaner, more consistent display across all trail types
  • CRM migrated to GoHighLevel — We’ve moved our customer communications platform from Mailchimp to GoHighLevel, which means better support workflows and more timely communication from us to you
  • Shift status is resort-scoped — Your shift status now correctly reflects only the resort you’re currently working in, so you’re not seeing shift data from other locations

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Department filter now defaults to “All” instead of showing empty results when no filter is selected
  • Dragging an incident marker on the dispatch map now saves the new position correctly
  • Patient names display correctly when working across multiple resorts
  • Creating a user who already exists at another resort now links the accounts instead of failing
  • Fixed pagination and various UI inconsistencies following the recent interface modernisation
