What’s New in 5.3.0

Locations on your map are about to get a lot more useful. You can now assign custom icons, colours, and even uploaded images to each location — so first aid rooms, helicopter pads, and equipment stores are instantly recognisable at a glance. We’ve also laid the groundwork for the new Flutter mobile app with a brand new mapping API.

✨ New Features

• Custom icons for each location — Every location on your map can now have its own icon, colour, and even a custom uploaded image. Choose from the full Font Awesome icon library with a searchable picker, and use the 16-colour quick swatch palette to colour-code different location types

• Icons render directly on the map — Your chosen icons now appear right on the map markers, so you can tell the difference between a first aid room and a snowmaking station at a glance

• Collapsible location form sections — The location configuration form now has clickable section headers that collapse and expand, making it easier to navigate when editing complex locations

• Training passport: see what’s next — After submitting a training module, the passport now shows your other pending modules so you know exactly what’s left to complete

• Mobile mapping API v3 — A new version of the mapping API has been built for areas, trails, lifts, and locations, preparing for the upcoming Flutter mobile app

🔧 Improvements

• Fixed black menu corners and improved icon alignment in the sidebar for a cleaner look
