What’s New in 5.2.0

The dispatch map gets a major usability overhaul in this release. Incident details now open in a full-height slide-out panel, trail and lift labels are easier to read, and we’ve added terrain view and a redesigned toolbar. If you spend your day on the dispatch map, this one’s for you.

✨ New Features

  • Full-height incident detail panel — Incident details now open in a slide-out panel on the dispatch map instead of a small popup, giving you much more room to review and update incident information without leaving the map
  • Terrain map view — You can now switch to terrain view from the map type toggle, which is particularly useful for understanding elevation and terrain features when planning responses
  • Redesigned map toolbar — Map controls have been redesigned with a centered toolbar and a dedicated layers icon, making it quicker to find the view you need
  • Trail and lift labels that follow the path — Labels now wrap along trail and lift lines and repeat on longer routes, so you can always identify which run you’re looking at without zooming in
  • Configurable label zoom threshold — Each resort can now set when trail and lift labels appear as you zoom in, so labels only show when they’re actually useful for your specific map layout
  • Translatable map legend — Map legend labels now support French translation, continuing our bilingual support across the application
  • Location markers for all locations — Locations that don’t have exact coordinates now still appear as point markers on the map, so nothing is invisible

🔧 Improvements

  • Faster map performance — Hidden trail and lift labels no longer redraw when you zoom, making the map noticeably more responsive on resorts with many trails
