What’s New in 1.0.2
Photos taken in the field now reach your incident exactly as your camera captured them, at full resolution and with their original date, time and location intact — so a photo from the hill stands up as evidence the same way one added from the dashboard does.
✨ New Features
- Full-quality incident photos — Photos added from the app are now uploaded exactly as your camera captured them. Nothing is shrunk or re-saved, and the original date, time, device and location stay attached to the file. The app no longer needs to be online to take one: the photo is held on your device and uploaded in full when you have signal.
- Set up two-factor authentication in the app — If your resort requires two-factor authentication, you can now enrol directly in the app instead of having to sign in on the dashboard first.
🔧 Improvements
- Steadier on weak mountain connections — When a request fails because something between your phone and Medic52 is briefly unavailable, the app now quietly tries again rather than giving up. It deliberately does nothing while you are offline, so it never drains your battery chasing a signal that isn’t there.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could stop the resort map from loading, leaving trails, lifts and locations missing.
