What’s New in 6.3.0
This release keeps incident photos exactly as they were uploaded so they stand up as evidence, makes photos load faster, and removes an unnecessary step for single-area resorts and events.
✨ New Features
- Evidence-grade incident photos — Incident photos are now stored exactly as they were uploaded, with a digital fingerprint recorded at upload, so you can show a photo hasn’t been altered since it was added to the incident. The original is always available to download.
- Area filled in automatically for single-area resorts — If your resort or event has only one area, the Area field is hidden on the incident form and the dispatch map and filled in for you. Trail lists and reports still use it.
🔧 Improvements
- Faster photo loading — Incidents now show a lighter preview of each photo, so incidents with several photos open more quickly. The full original is one click away.
- Continued security hardening — We’ve tightened permission checks on asset configuration, strengthened how older configuration forms handle the text you enter, and updated underlying security components.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- The age and gender charts in Analytics load again.
- Printing an incident no longer fails when a weight or height field contains text such as “unknown”.
- Asset type names can no longer be saved blank.
- Staff who are temporarily not assigned to any resort now see a normal page instead of an error.
- Incident forms copied from another resort now show the correct trail list.
- If an image upload fails on an asset or check, you now see a clear message asking you to try again, instead of the upload silently doing nothing.
