Should we enter all calls to possible incidents?

We have built up the cases and reporting system to enable you to track everything that happens.

When a call is received you should enter it in the dispatch system. It does not matter if this progresses through to a full incident.

You can enter a resolution to the call in the Close Case are. Default choices are:

  1. Patroller not required
  2. Incident not found
  3. Medical Centre
  4. Doctor
  5. Hospital

Items 1 & 2 are standard reporting elements to help you track how many

  • calls you had
  • incidents reported, but not found
  • a patroller found, but was not required
  • real incidents
